so as you know, not many people focus on stopping muscle cars but i probably need to upgrade the stop if i'm going to upgrade the go...gotta bring it down when the :police: come round  :icon_smile_big:...i was looking @ Jegs Premium Complete Power Brake Kit (555-630220) because it was cheaper and it was the most complete package...but i know ssbc has great stuff as does wilwood...so your thoughts and experiences would be nice...btw i won't have stock wheels so that issue isn't on the table...thanks!   :2thumbs:

Do you have discs up front currently? If so, it would be a lot cheaper to simply buy some reman calipers, new pads, blah blah than to buy one of the conversion kits. And if you have drums up front right now, I'd still recommend grabbing some disc spindles and caliper adapters from the junkyard and go from there. . . at least, if you're on a budget.

If I were you I would just buy new rotors, calipers, pads, and hoses (hard lines too if yours are bad off) and a new MC if yours is bad off, new brake shoes for the rears, wheel cylinders, etc. too if needed.
