Robin, that really does look fantastic.  Great job!

Minor point though - you probably need to change the date on the picture's border to read August 1969 rather than May.  Only one Daytona is listed as having shipped earlier than around the middle of August.  Neat touch though, as I wouldn't have thought of it.

Hmmmm....interesting point.

I picked May - as the page where the original image was "stolen" from stated that the pictures were taken in the Spring of 1969.
And since the trees have leaves already, it seemed to be about right.

For curiosity's sake, what was the "window of production" from Creative Industries?

I don't think anyone knows with absolute certainty when Creative started working.  There is paperwork that says the goal was to start conversion work on June 1, but it's anyone's guess as to whether they met that goal or not.  I'm guessing they weren't in full production then, although there was probably some work being done on the prototype(s).  In fact, in early June there was still some discussion going on about whether or not they could even use the wing.  Dodge/Chrysler was very careful in how they described the wing to NASCAR and ACCUS, and even talked internally about the possibility of having to race the car with just the nosecone & back glass modifications.  Not a good prospect for Dodge fans, as that would have made the car's downforce quite unbalanced (way more downforce up front than in the rear making the car VERY loose).

Your revised date of August is perfect, as that dovetails with the known Shipment List dates.

The date of August to me fits better too. Given the fact that they had shipped a few by August. Or at least according to the shipment list that is.
