Online Tire Dealers, Who've You Used?

I've purchased from tirerack.com several times and been very satisfied. I'm going to need new sneakers for the Charger this summer and wonder what other online tire sellers are good. In 275 and 255/60-15s tirerack's selection is limited. Everybody's probably is, I was wondering what else is out there. Running an internet search from Pakistan, where I currently am, tends to yield some strange results amidst the tire companies' websites. So, who've you used? The Coopers, Uniroyals, and Dunlops look like more tire for the money than just replacing the B.F. Goodrich T/As that have been on there since '92. The Coopers even have a slightly higher speed rating.

ALWAYS USED TIRE RACK ! I LOOKED UP THAT BEFORE WITH THEM (275-60-15 T/A ) WHAT IS THE PROBLEM ?

THEY ARE 87.00 EACH , ALMOST FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no problem with Tire Rack. They're a great company. I put a set of tires on my Neon R/T from there. I'm just looking for more options. I might go back with the T/As. But, since I'm overseas and don't want to waste any of my time when I get home tire shopping, I'd rather have them waiting for me when I get home so they can go right on.

I've used both Tire Rack and Discount Tire Direct.

Tire Rack has better selection.

DTD generally has a better price, free shipping, and free mount and balance.

Tire Rack has warehouses in several states. If you happen to live in one of them, be wary of sales tax.

Given the choice, I generally shop DTD first.

Another good option, although not necessarily online, is Sams Club.  Once you factor in mount and balance ($9/tire w/lifetime balancing and road hazzard), they have very good prices on tires, as long as it's a fairly common size. Get into anythhing odd or exotic, they lose their edge.

 Exactly the same for me.  DiscountTireDirect.com has been very good to me, even when all the valve stems I ordered didn't make it.  They shipped more out no questions asked, and sent me an email with big $$ off my next order.  I ordered a set of Nitto's from them.

I bought both tires and rims from Tire Rack and had no problems what so ever.  I will say it was quite a long time ago however.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Ya, Tire Rack is great, but I don't actually buy THEIR tires. I find what I want, print out the Tire Rack price, and then take it to the local tire dealer and ask them to match it. I get my tires for the Tire Rack price locally with a local warranty

:iagree:

DTD is usually a couple bucks cheaper figuring in tax and shipping but I've bought sets from both.

Sam's Club rocks for daily driver tires.   I put a set of Michelins in the fall for a great deal onto her car.
