70 seat question

Bought these '71 charger buckets from ebay last yr. for my 70 charger.  I know the early '71 seats were supposed to be the same as '70 highbacks.  Thats what these were advertised as.  Now I'm realizing these are probably late '71 seats

Anyway, I spoke with someone from Legendary today who told me that the vinyl and foam bottoms for the '70 won't work with ANY of these '71 seats.  Then i spoke with someone from PG Classics who said, "Oh yea those will definitely work on the '71s".  So I'm confused .  

Anyone know for sure? Can they be finessed by an upholstery shop to fit the 70 seat vinyl?

For what i paid, I really wish I could return these but it's been too long.

the main diff between earlier 71 and lates 71s is the back frame specially at side hinges area, what makes diff release button and back panel, BUT I think seat covers and foam itself are the same

on 72 foam and covers are diff, but same frame that lates 71s.

So if you try to fit a lates 71 on your 70 I think the only BIG diff and incorrect stuff noticeable from exterior will be the seatback panels. Is not posible fit 70/earliers 71 back panels on a lates 71 back seat and backward

Thank you Nacho for your expertise.  That gives me hope that I can at least keep these seats and make them look right for the '70.
