Well it has been a long long time since i have posted on the site.

I had some wring issues wth my Charger and I kind of stepped away from it for a few months.
I just added my 71' R/T hood.
My original Rally bulge needs re-painted due to the electrical fire.

Not to get off topic...but are my old pals still here.

Yeah a pice of rubber fuel line by the carb had a small leak crack and it hit a small crack in a plug wire and fire !
The fuel dripped onto cardboard that was under the Charger in the garage and the heat melted all me wires.
Could have been really bad. I am going to but an fire extinguisher and keep it in the Charger at all times.A hard lesson to learn.
I always did wonder why all the guys at the car cruises had them...thought it was a racing reg or something. Very hard lesson. :brickwall: :icon_smile_dissapprove:

sorry about that ;) but great you are working on anyway.

Maybe with this you won't have more problems anymore ? since you have to replace everything ;)

I never have thought on get an extinguisher to my car, but mainly because throught the time I have replaced everything that could get damages with the time ( rubber, wires etc... ). The gas hose crack is a tipical diagnosis of simply an old and dried piece.

I won't say DON'T GET AN EXTIGUISHER, because safety is allways a rule, but as far you have replaced every old piece that can get damaged with time even without use, I bet you will be PERFECT ;)
