Did you actually sell the Durango yet? That could be the hard part. Or are you going to trade it in?

Before you pull the trigger on the new car, consider the cost of deprecation of a new car vs the cost of gas for the Durango. If you figure your cost per mile over the next five years, the Durango may be cheaper. Of course, unforeseen repairs on the Durango could be high.  :Twocents:

I'll keep my Truck, Hemi and all, it's PAID FOR so the money spent on GAS is STILL less than a car payment, and the truck only has 55k on it so it still has warranty for 30k more miles.

Well, I'll try to answer everyone, the day started with new car, but ended up going to "new to us car" Found a nice little 2006 Saturn Ion 3 loaded. 2.4 Stick car (Wife loves standards) When all was said and done, they are giving us everything we owe on the Durango.... yes, thats right, after 2 hours I talked them into a bit over $6000 for the thing ;) an the Ion below NADA and Kelly Bluebook.....

We started to think about the depreciation and figured it just wasn't worth getting a new car.

So in all, I think we may go and pull the trigger on this tomorrow. I'll keep everyone updated.

CR and a few other car reviews had a lot of good to say about the 06... the earlier ions didnt fair so well ;)

ohhh, and yeah, Imports where out. I'm a domestic guy.
