Were there two different 14" Magnum wheel designs, from the factory, that were used for disk and drum cars?  I have read things over the years that indicate there was, but I have also seen discusion that they were all the same.

My car came with factory disks, and I am buying an aftermarket kit that uses a braket and a non-mopar caliper.  I'm thinking that the car had disks from the factory, so the new set-up should fit, right?  I mean, nothing can be as big as those original Bendix 4 piston monsters.  :scratchchin:

Generally, 11" discs will fit, 11.75" will not.

No guarantee though.

Better budget for an upgrade to 15" wheels/

Yea, the bigger rotors will cause clearance issues with 14" wheels, not because of the rotors themselves of course but the calipers. You'll have to check with each manufacturer to see if 14" wheels will fit over their systems. If you go with the A-body swap setup I believe 14" wheels will work so long as you stay with the 10.87" rotors that came on the A-bodies as opposed to bumping up to the 11.75" setup.
