I got my permit on Sunday and it rained yesterday and this morning which washed all the salt off the roads. So I drove my charger for the first time today. I found out that I need a bearing somewhere in the rear end. I also found out my dad doesn't like it when the go pedal is on the floor. And I was revved at by my first ricer today but he turned the wrong way and I was cruising in style most of the time not speed. The charger ran great, sounded better and burned about 1/4 tank of gas. Had lots of fun and got to a top speed of 45mph.

Damn dude, you make me jealous sitting here reading this! It's been a series of beautiful days around here but still my Charger sits in my shop. Aghhh I want to drive it! Maybe one nice burnout. . . too bad tires are expensive.

Ah, makes me excited about the first days of spring time coming up. It will only be a short 10 weeks or so before I can finally get the car out of its winter home, and enjoy it again.

Who am I kidding, if it was 60 today I'd be out right now.

Been taking my charger out as much as i could, want to have fun with it before i take it apart and it does nothing but sit there until its done. Dan i see your in NJ, im actually thinking of taking a trip up to my fathers house this weekend to pick up a carburetor...he's in greenwood lake, on my way back to Brooklyn it wouldn't be too much out of the way to pass through your part of NJ. Maybe go for a morning cruise and some lunch?  :2thumbs:

Charger Steve

Cruising in your Charger in Feb.? Not where I live in north Iowa! We have two feet of snow on the ground and the forecast is for -13 degrees tonight. My Charger won't see the sun untill about late April or early May. I envy you.

it was 30 degrees today and I drove it for the second time tonight to school and home for some meeting.
I have 5 quarts of used oil in the garage would it help if I put some in a spray bottle and sprayed it in the wheel wells to help protect them.
