What a piece of crap! :eek2: My RT must be worth $95000.000 by this guys standard.

I totally agree.....and in that case, I WOULD HAVE SOLD my 1972 Charger Rallye (for $95K) - - back in 2003!   Yeah but,  the guy actually paid $80 less,  and  got great deal! ..... even by the low money standards five years ago.

Given the prices that this eBay jay is asking for these cobbled cars  .....  72chargerSE's rare 4-speed car must be worth way over $150K in todays market!  :scratchchin:  He could buy one "his" and "hers" 2009 ZR1 Corvette and 2009 SRT8 Challenger for that price !

I'd be worried about getting knifed if I sold any p.o.s car for more than it was worth.....but that's just me. :eek2:

any input on that 69 superbee for $20,000?

472 R/T SE

A moparts member has that Bee for sale.  I think he got it from Harwell as he's using their pictures to sell it now.   I think it looks like a killer deal unless I'm missing something.
My buddy had one identical but was an original 4 gear Hemi car that has a twin to it in the Great White North.

yea it is. he is asking $7k less than he paid a few months ago. It has some rust, and not what im 'really' wanting, but would be nice to have. still holding out for that 1970 big block 4 speed challenger or cuda.

rough body ? where ?

I say yes, worths it, althought I don't like 69 coronet/superbees.

I just want a give you an opinion if you let me do it... You need to get focused on what you want and not search on what to spend the money ;)

My budget is $40k.

What i WANT is a 1970 4 speed originally big block Dodge Challenger R/T.

What I also would take is a 1969-1974 Dodge Charger big block 4 speed car R/T.

$40k will eat that up for a so-so car.

$20k in a car like that would allow me $20k to play with (ie- mods)

I can't see something to REALLY worry.

if you want a 70 chally... try to get it first. Then once you get tired, go for thr rest of options ;D I'll try to be alert to help you  ;)

thanks, but the one I found after lookin all year last year I flew out to buy it and the seller sold it out from under me. Was a 1970, EV2 orange, R/T 440-4 speed Challenger for$35k. Havent found one in that condition since.  Figured I could get the Super Bee as a "fix" until I find the one I really want.

$16K ? I think so thats a more honest number than $20K. I would give $20K-22K for a BB ( 440 more than 400 ) and A/C car

so 16k isnt getting ripped off? Someone said it was a stripped rallye, what other options did rallye chargers possibly come with?

Nacho-RT74

the basic on Rallye are: rallye cluster, Front and rear sway bars, doors and tail light ( just on 72 ), bulged hood, beside the 340 what in this case what is a rallye by default.

Being a 340 Rallye should have as far I know machine guns tips and cut out valance, but I can be wrong, let me search about

here the options... doesn't state about the machine gun tips and exhaust cout outs on valence, but I think they were part of package on 340s and 440s

From a website I always extracted this:
Rallye Package: Bulge hood, hood tie-down pins, black or red "gradated" body stripe, front and rear sway bars, F70X40 raised white letter tires, Rallye instrument panel (hooded, circular gauges with raised white letters, including a speedo, ammeter, oil, temp, and fuel.)  318V8 standard rallye engine.   340 4 barrel and 440 4 barrel V8 with bright tip duals at extra cost on the ralley. 340 was only available with the rallye.  440 also came with the S.E. package.

but is 73 info. There states about the hood pins what as far I know was optional, not a part of package

About the car itself, just see this "imperfections":
missed console ashtray,
cracked dash pad,
incorrect engine color,
missed woodgrain wheel,
cracked arm rests,
missed rear speaker knob,
missed release key decal,
Missed emergency brake pedal pad
incorrect battery hold down straps
missed nut on inner fender to battery strap
hinges in black
missed valve cover breather
incorrect paint on grilles
damaged quarter jam seal on passenger side
missed trunk drain plugs
missed spare tire, jack and trunk matt :P

I think there is also something weird about rear bumper below driver side tail light, but maybe a light/reflection illusion ?

I think thats all  :icon_smile_big:
