Did some cleaning on a 915 head.. found a crack at the exhaust port. To me it looks like someone tired to fix (weld) this several years ago.
Is this head junk..? Any coolant passage beneath the crack..?

I would have both heads pressure tested & magnafluxed before throwing any money into them.  :Twocents:

I simply will make a temporally fix and will search for a new set... there are plenty around and not expensive.

Well.. here in Sweden the dont grow on trees  ;D Inspected this one close between the valve seats (were the usually crack).. so didnt see this coming  :icon_smile_angry:

I´m looking for a closed chamber head.. soo i guess its 915 or 516..
Guess i´ll keep looking for another pair

Ohh.. and one more question.. the 915 and the 516.. are they identical? (asuming both have the small ex. valve)
