pros and cons... I have heard better if they mount vertical.. If so, why they came horizontal over manifold on BB ?

i have often thought about this , as i have had   2 new MP coils  leak after only a couple weeks , thinking that they get too hot where they are  :scratchchin: might of just got  faulty ones though . but if they were vertical no leaks  :yesnod:

I still haven't got any leak in 10 years. BTW neither a faulty coil. Replaced once for one I found on a junkyard because was Standart brand instead national made Echlin products I had first. was on a 400 engine coming form a USA truck, and still running.

Performance ppl down here told me they keep cooler being vertical.

yeah, oil inside keeps cooler all the coil equal but the top ends... that's what they say. Dunno if really is that critical... apparently being horizontal, the area keep on top will be out of the oil allong the coil inside  :shruggy:
