Cody,
Post as much as you want about Metal & Mopars. I am 34 and I know of all the bands you talk about. Most of the old f--k's here have to get up to date on Metal. :nana:
Cody, you ever listen to The Black Dalhilia Murder, Every Time I Die, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, Haste The Day or Despised Icon? Good stuff.
Oh yeah, check out Job For A Cowboy as well. :2thumbs:

c'mon that is just ridiculous.
You cant pound that stuff in your head all the time without it negatively affecting your behaviour.

BMOTOXSTAR - dont take this personally, I'm not directing it specifically at you I'm just saying with titles like that, it sounds very depressing.

No offense taken, I know the names of the bands are pretty out there like Pluto, but believe it or not the music is uplifting. If this helps, The Devil Wears Prada is a Christian metal band. :D
But I know what you mean, the names of the bands are out there.

Some people find pleasure in dark music. I know I do. I always have. I know I am not alone. I still am far younger than the oldest guy at Slayer concerts. I used to be told it was a 'phase' of rebellion as a youth. I am a bigger fan today than ever.

My brother is 50 and he is alwys up front in the pit at the shows, the last time Slayer came to town he gave the younger guys a run for the money in the pit. Me, I stay away from the pit.
Dark music makes me happy. Type O Negative or Immortal on a rainy day is best. :yesnod:

Odd...  I've heard things like this all my life, and I turned out pretty okay.

Frankly, I'm getting pretty fucking sick and tired of people blaming movies, music, and video games for the behavior of kids who fuck up.  BLAME THE GOD DAMN KIDS, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE REALLY AT FAULT.

Christ, people. :brickwall:

As for the thread topic, nope, not going.  I have better things to spend my money on.  Like food.  And car insurance.  Although, I am a fan of Megadeath's older stuff.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I don't know.  If I listened to Megadeth for more than five minutes, I'd probably blow up an orphanage.
I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.

The only Megadeth album I ever really bought was Cryptic Writings when it came out.  I still like that one quite a bit.

I like Countdown to Extinction and one of the latest ones, System Has Failed :yesnod:

I have "In My Darkest Hour" on my MP3 playlist, does that count?  ;D

Here is a piece of music trivia. One of Pink Floyds early band names was "The Megadeaths".

supserdave

I like all of Megadeth's old stuff, and even some of the newer stuff. Motopsycho was kind of a cool song.  InFlames is a kick ass band to. I doubt I'll go though.

I live in the LouEVIL502

Heres my date:

Really wish Friedman & Eleffson were still with'em. Love to see what I consider "the original lineup", but its over for that.
