AAAH I get it now. I also call those guys the high and mighty. They usually sit in a high back chair that sits higher than the low life salesman so he can look down at them LOL. A professional liar so to speak. No offense towards you but I could not tell the lies and B.S.that all car sales people do and hold a straight face or be able to sleep at night. I know the game, I`ve also got people on the inside who`ve told me "how it works..." And to answer your question, one word, YES!

spoken like a true jack ass, a lot of people on this board have met me,and know that i have a little bit of a temper but am a pretty good guy in general-you my friend seem like a jerk,to make a statement about me or anyone because of their profesion?i would normaly tellyou to f### off,but out of respect to our mods i wont, most of whom i have also met at one time or another,

i for one dont like most lawyers, but i wouldnt call them all theives and crooks like you just did,and for the record what do you do for a living?
With an attitude and temper like you have shown here I wouldn`t spend one cent at your dealership or send anyone there to get verbally abused like you just did to me. I didn`t direct my opinion to you directly if you would have taken the time to read my post instead of maybe feeling guilty yourself when reading my comments. I stand by what I said, I have "friends" on the inside and know how it works and none of this was directed towards you personally. I`m a refrigeration technician and pipefitter by trade with over 25 years expirience. I also have a small Mopar restoration parts business that I`ve been running for 7+ years and if I talked to you like you just talked to me I would have been out of business a long time ago. Maybe you need to attend a management class on how to treat people...I can imagine how you treat your sales people if they don`t meet "the quota" Good Luck! Done...

Actually, Charge-it, from what I just read, you are the one who threw the first insult.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

A lot of good reasons, I have another one.

I would not buy a first model year car again. Did it in 1987 on a Pontiac Bonneville. Had to be one of the worst paint jobs ever. Rusted around the hardware and trim mounting points.

I can still tell one when I see it because the lower part of the doors are rusted out. It started at the metal clips holding the side dent bumpers on.
A couple years later problem was solved.

You got to wait and let them work the bugs out.          :popcrn:

Well I think that the verbal abuse started on page one of this thread with some comment about "Thanks for contributing to the problem" and continued from there.

I'm not taking anyones side as I've never met eithero ne of you. I can say that I've read several of Andy's post though and see that he does treat people well on here that questions about newer cars. Just because there are a few bad apples in his field of work doesn't mean the whole bushel of them aren't good.

And believe me I know several piepfiters as well. Not all of them are the most honest and straight forward people either. Does that make them all bad? NO.

Just because one man name Hitler went off an tried to conquer the world does that make all Germans bad? No. You can't judge everyone just because of how one other person who happens to share the same profession/heritage/religion/or anything else.

Can you really call it a first year car though if it is based on the Charger/Magnum/300 that have been around since 2005?

You know greed, markups, ripoffs, etc., would not be an issue if Chrysler would just get off its lazy az$ the first time and make enough friggin' cars to go around.

Hey Andy, do you think the reason they only made so many is to see if there would be a market?  :shruggy:  That's what I think.  :yesnod:  I have the feeling that the Dodge boys can't take loosing more money.   :shruggy:   Chuck.......

andy74

yes i think they are testing the waters, hopefully they will get production up asap

kamkuda

I am happy they priced it where they did, Given the demand, maybe they could have priced it higher?

Ghoste

Then again, a higher price could easily kill demand.

Yes. In other words they're being cheap and pessimistic as always. When Chrysler finally does something that makes complete sense (and has made sense all along because Chevy and Ford were already making money at it) they still test the waters with extremely limited runs. They've done this extra cab pickups, convertible PT Cruisers, etc., etc. Why don't they ever open their eyes to what the other companies are doing and have been successful at doing? How long has Ford been selling the hell out of Mustangs, and Chrysler still has to "test the market" with the new Challenger? Oh well. Chrysler could have taken the lead over two years ago and hit one out of the park with the '06 Charger but they instead tried to play it safe and ended up screwing themselves, as usual. Now they're back to playing catch-up to the new Mustang and they still can't get it right. Why is it that every average Joe I meet gets it but Chrysler doesn't?
