I was just going through some old photos and found these of the FK5 1970 Charger Pinewood Derby model I built with my son (now in college) several years ago. I was happy with how it turned out visually (I'll be honest, I did most of the work, lol), but better than that, it was FAST! Just like the real thing.

I still have both of the pinewood cars I (my dad) made some 40+ years ago!

From the Cub Scouts. I still remember using graphite and sanding/polishing the wheels to smooth. Fun times.
