B5 Charger

Well I got frustrated and walked away from my project for a little over a year.  Now that I'm back I seem to have a little trouble remembering where I left off.  I had just finished rebuilding my brake pedal assembly when I threw up my hands.  Now I can't remember what goes in this bolt hole.  Can anyone help me out?

Shakey

You know, I have looked at numerous photos of my car before it was taken apart and countless others from salvage yards and some I even swiped from the www and I can't seem ti find a photo of anything bolted into that hole.

Anyone else?   :popcrn:

Ghoste

Does it have anything to do with a four speed pedal assembly?

Charger-Bodie

Not sure if there should be a brace on a auto car ,but on a manual transmission equipped car, its for the cage that reinforces clutch pedal shaft.

auto and stick cars use the same pedal support frame, the stick cars have a bracket that mounts to the frame for the clutch pedal, thats whats bolted there.

nice work on the pedal ass, looks great

Thanks guys.  I didn't think I took anythiong out of there but when you take a year off it's hard to remember sometimes.

Well I'll be. I had no idea that the main brake pedal support frame was the same between 4-speeds & autos.
Makes sense though, that's one less separate part to make if they didn't have to.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Geeez, if that's how your pedal assy looks, can't wait to see the whole car.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

All I can say is I wish I were a body man.  Then maybe my whole car would look that way!   ;D
