Into my big green 66. I've got the engine pretty much as far as it will go together before it is in the car. I actually have to remove the alternator and carb before I drop it in.

I still have some pieces to get for the car and a few parts to paint before I can start it and drive it.

But hopefully that big 440 is as good an engine as it seems to be!

Thank you !!!!

Bull, the manifolds are done with DupliColor High heat Header paint, supposed to be good for 1800 degrees. Those things get THAT hot and the finish will be the least of my worries!!!!!!

I just wire brushed the rust and such, and and cleaned them up. (Spray them with CRC brake cleaner and let it evaporate use the GOOD STUFF, not that non chlorinated crap)

And then I shot them with paint. I'm gonna try it, My Dad builds street Rods and is building a 49 Ford right now, he said they eventually fade toa  nice steel gray, which is want I wanted.

I can't WAIT to start driving this thing, it has been at least 12 years since I had a big block cruiser.
