are the ebay brake conversion kits worth while?

just a quick question, i searched ebay, and found the front brake conversion kits for about 400 bucks... is it a good deal, or is it just a scam?

does it come with everything or is a lot of things left out to keep the price down?

I bought the same kit from summit except mine had hoses to for 450. I bought better bearings for mine, the ones that come with it are made in china. No problems so far. They raised the price to 549 now.

so are these the big brake (12") from a C-Body?

If you put that kit on did you have to use a different master cylinder and brake booster if so was there modifing to do so I want one but it says in the add the 650 one that you have to modify the firewall

Its the 11 or 10.87 ones. I just bought a disc master cylinder at napa as mine was manual brakes anyway , power I don't know. The master I bought was for a 73 dart it was brand new for $38.

I don't like the smaller rotors.  the only thing you need for the bigger rotors is a different set of caliper adapters.  the rotors themselves would cost pretty much the same between the 10.87's and the 11.75's.

its not the best kit but will do fine for the daily driver. its only 10.75 or so. Kit is pretty heavy itself. if you go with willwoods they make lighter calipers and their part quality is better overall and you get stainless steel hoses also
