Well she has not blew up, burned (done that) melted anything (done that) get caught in a Hail Strom (done that) broke in half from rust (done that) or in general have a bad day. Well, I did break the center out of my wheel doing a power slid, was feeling a little DOH.

Took her to a car show and it was around 80 mile drive on the interstate. Gave her a little heck, 1/2 throttle burst and ran her to 60 MHP in second gear. (remember 2.76 sure gippe). Try to very the RPM's around 200 to 500 RPM's all the time. Should have my wife drive the dam thing, that how she drives all the time. Speed up, slow down, speed up and slow down. Driving this way is getting on my nevers.

I am doing it right or should I start beating on her harder? Remenber smooth bore holes (plated word I cannot come cloes to spellling) And Plasma Chrome Moly Rings and 2.76 gears. With out doing the math guess max I have hit is around 4000 RPM's.

Well there was one little burn out, only 25 feet and the quick turn power slide :icon_smile_big:. When should I start beating on her, yet to hit WOT and run her to 5000 RPM's and upper ward's. God know's she should take 6000 RPM's and say "I want more, is that all you want?". :icon_smile_big:

Got a second places at the car show which was at a Air Port. ;D She has some Nectar in her tank, 100 octane Avation fule. Just told them "opps, I left the wing at the house"! Need gas anyway and was only $3.89 a gallon and I paid $3.19 for 89 octane to get to the show so what the F--k. ;D

Cuda Ken, not melted, on fire, crashed or on a flat bed again. :icon_smile_big:

I run them hard , wide open throttle , just keep the RPM under Redline max 5000 for the first 400 - 500 miles

Same here.   I always break them in, like I'm going to run them.   Haven't run into any adverse affects, in 40+ years of building hotrods.
I used to have a handle on life....but it broke off.

:iagree: Babying it too much will prevent the rings from seating....beat on it but not too hard. Everything else needs to loosen up a bit but after 500 miles it's time to play !
