  My friend George with the 572 hemi was chatting about taking it down to inspect and possibly / probably swap to a roller cam.   He had schubeck problems before and he thinks he has another lifter going away now.

Damn....those composite lifters were supposed to be the miracle cure for wiped out flat tappet cams. 

I was looking at a set of those for my next build but it looks like the Howards EDM cold face tappets are the best option now !

the funny thing about this is that shubeck's lifters were the "hottest" thing and everyone promoted them (even those that never used them)...

I wonder what dynamics are going on to cause his departure from the scene... you know there is a bigger story to this, somewhere.
