Can a single diaphragm booster be used with disc brakes, I know factory disc cars had the bendix dual diaphragm, but if doing a conversion will the single diaphragm work?

I couldn't say for sure on if it would work or not but I have disc brakes on my 69 Charger without a booster and a drum brake master cylinder with the pressure check valve removed and it works fine, its been that way for about the last 6 or 7 years so I think it should work.

I tried it when I had 11.75" disc on the front and 10 in drums with a 73 charger master cylinder. It didn't work that great even with the correct vacuum. I couldn't get the fronts to lock up. You might be able to get it to work if you try a different master cylinder with a smaller bore. MBM brake boosters was supposed to reproduce the Bendix dual diaphragm booster two years ago. I ended up getting a hydroboost booster from the junkyard when I installed the rear disc and it works great.

You might check with Pirate Jacks and see if MBM ever got the Bendix unit in.  O/W, you could use a Midland Ross if you didn't care about originality.  I think they had those.

My 68 had power drum brakes. The brakes I have on the car now are from a 75 Dart. The booster on the mid 70's A body front disc brake cars appear to be identical to the one on my Charger, but the bolt pattern through the firewall is different.

I needed to replace my Booster anyway, so I got a rebuilt one from Les Scwabbs. Get a master cylinder for a front disc brake car, and also, you will need a different proportioning valve. The one from the 75 Dart bolted wright in place of the original on mine.

And yes, the car stops great.
