ACTIVATION REGISTRATION LOGIN ? how long does one have to wait ?

my friend BILL aka BILLSSUPERBIRD registered at around 5pm est . and still has not gotten the Email for activation 7:30 pm est . shouldnt that be immeditely ?    i cant remmeber how long it took to logon when i registered .

Yes, it should be immediate. I don't see where the email bounced or anything so my guess is that it got caught in a spam filter somewhere. That's a HUGE problem if Hotmail isn't delivering the registration emails (and not bouncing them back to me either).

Oh, I activated the account manually.
