hi there to all ...i have a 70 dodge charger,what rearend casing wuld i have 742 or 849

After 37 years the only way to know for sure is to crawl under and look.  It will be cast into the drivers side of the yoke and will likely be 2881489.  They are cast numbers not stamped and it is the last three we use when discussing them.
