I want to switch from the flat tappet to a roller cam can i just pull the flat and install a roller into a 440? or is there other stuff i need to do? i am a complete noob when it comes to cams haha
1973 dodge charger se was 318 in process of swapping in 440

NO
have to install roller lifters. the lobes on a roller cam are different than a flat tappet.
