intake/heads from 360 for a 318

I have a 318 with a 2brl carb and a friend has several parts from his 360. I am wanting to get his intake, heads and valve covers. The 360 intake will work for a 318 right?

I know nothing about smallblocks, but the Edelbrock intake I just bolted on my 318 came off a 360:

Read the ALLPARTS.Com article about the subject. You can do great things if you do machine work to the 360 heads. But if you don't, you'll lose power due to the larger 360 combustion chambers dropping your CR. Also the runners on the manifold are larger than the 318 head runners again impeding flow. Unless it's a Edelbrock performer manifold you'll be going backwards.
