is it ok to use rustiolium in lue of a head liner?

I am planning on getting a head liner for my 68 charger but not for a little bit, so for now I sprayed it with black rustolium, is this going to be ok? anyone ever have a problem?

I don't know why it would be a problem. I know a lot of guys on thie board like using POR 15 in spots like that because it's more permanent.

I would think that the interior would be noisy as a tin can without a headliner. 

Maybe fine for short trips but sounds like a bear for long trips...

Having done it, I'll back that up.  Even noisy on short trips.
