We are under a freezing rain watch/warning. I hate the snow ice or what ever form of freezing precipitation. Where I work at we have to clear and treat the walks and there is LOTS of area to cover. We have snow blowers and the maintenance crews get the parking lots and the walks adjacent to the streets. So yeah it sucks being out there before daylight with a north wind kicking your butt. Then get home and do it all over again :P

We were supposed to get snow followed by freezing rain today here in Davenport, Iowa.  The snow lasted about 20 minutes before the rain started.   About a 1/4" of ice on everything so far, and the rain is still coming down.   I planted several trees this fall, and I hope the ice covering doesn't break off their small branches.

Had light flakes in CT today.  Brought the snowblower in the garage from the shed.  Tomorrow I mount the plow on the ole 78 Wheel Horse so I can sit on my butt and plow the crap due Sunday eve.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

We were under a freezing precip. watch last night as well. It rained half the day and now are temps went into the 50's with a south wind of 30-40 mph.

We got 6-8 inches in Minneapolis on Friday night- Saturday morning.  Frankly, I'm surprised it took this long to get snow, and by the fact that it was hovering around 40-45 degrees for most of November.  Compared to last year, that's balmy.  Last year, the first snow was in mid-October!

I heard you have to watch out for all the snakes, lizards,scorpions,spiders....etc....etc. when it gets real hot out especially at night.

Snowblower got a workout today had to clear the driveway three times since 6 this morning. Didn't see snow till late Jan last year.

TeeWJay426

Had a forecast of 8-12 in southern NH, got maybe 4-5.... not that I'm complaining though! All the schools in the area were closed, slippery, sloppy, slow crawl into work... had the usual cast of Massholes who couldn't stay out of the median cuz' they still had to try to do 70 on the freeways... ::)
Not it's just cold and raw- might make it to 30 today, if we're lucky..
