Brake light on?

the red light on the dash for the brake system is on on my 68 charger.  The master cylinder is full.  What else causes this?

parking brake on/bad switch, or the pressure sender in the dist. block under the master cyl.

or is giving you A REAL conditions of the brakes... with a leak or bad adjusted shoes. If siwtch on dist block is good it does sense a disbalancing on rear/front brakes system.

ok well there are no obvious leaks and the fluid stays in the master cylinder.  How do you adjust or test the parking brake switch.  where is it even located?

you'll find the sender/switch on same dist block...

wait a minute you can get damaged emeregency brakes pedal switch damaged too and is grounding... both use same bulb

My brake system light stays on unless, after I release the parking brake, I pick it up a tiny bit with my foot so that the pedal is all the way up

thats a good sign that the ebrake cable needs to be adjusted a little tighter.

Shows an unbalance in pressure in the proportional valve check the elect. plug on the prop. valve.
