Does anyone know if 68 chargers came out with this style vinyl roof ?  ( not sure of the correct name ) , if so can you get it from anywhere , thanks J

I have seen a 68 with Gator grain vynil top, but i don't know if it is factory correct.  Most upholstery shops should be able to get the material and make a top for you.

I did not think it was available in 68, but for some reason thought it was a 69 thing.  Maybe that was the Mod Top?

Not a charger I was Talking about Mod top in general, even though the Mod top Daytona on the train track was a cool pic!

if i remember correctly, the polaras could get it, but it was a weird variation in black.

the gator grain top, for '70, was a brown shiny coating on the black top, and was code V1R.  i'm 85% certain of that...

"Up until now, the only way to get any new GatorGrain for your Chrysler was to either:
a) Sell your soul to the devil in order to find some NOS stock
b) Kill 3 gators, skin, apply."

that's funny.
