There was a member on the old board that delivered cars, but I cant remember who it was. Maybe someone will chime in with that info.

TruckDriver

I used KiwisKarriers out of Port Townsend, WA . Was $1,200 for me on a open 3 car trailer. My car has no brakes and doesn't run yet either. They just winched mine up on the back of the trailer.

I used Trusty Transport for my Fury, it was very inexpensive.  Dependable Auto shipped my Charger, but they're very pricey.  Not sure if this helps.

Wasn't the guy advertising on the old site Ramcharger Transport or something? A buudy of mine used him for his pro-street Nova and was very impressed with the service. I haven't been able to find his contact info for awhile now. I'm looking inot using R.A.M. Transport for my SE - recommended by the current owner of the car.

I've used Horseless Carriage in the past. They're out of Paterson, NJ. They specialize in classic & exotic cars only.

I used Horseless Carriage to ship my two (2) Chargers from Seattle, WA to Salt Lake City, Utah.  Very pleased with the price and care.  They told me it would take three days and they had them down in SLC in two.  the carriers are enclosed and they do what they say they will do.  However, I don't know about a car with no brakes.  Call and talk to them.

I will never use Dependable Auto, again and I told them I would never recommend them to anyone.  I shipped my Monte Carlo down using Dependable.  I paid extra for a top load on an open carrier.  They sent it from Seattle, WA to Hayward, CA and it sat there for two weeks.  When it finally arrived in SLC, it had a pool of transmission fluid on the hood and it had a big ding in the front bumper - looked like they had hit the car in front of it.  They tried to tell me that the transmission fluid was from the overhang of a car in front of it.  I told them BS and the only thing they did was refund the difference between a top load and bottom load.

I would highly recommend Horseless Carriage.

My Charger was shipped from Spokane, WA to NJ! Car arrived safe & sound. I did a price comparaison, & their price was reasonable & competetive with other carriers. The only problem I had, is that it took a few months to get my car due to severe snowstorms in the Seattle/Spokane area. Their trucks simply could not get there.

trusty transport was the company i was planning on going with.  i had submited the online price quote and had emailed the guy a few times and mentioned that tthe car was just a rolling shell and it had no brakes......well yesterday right before i was about to fill out their order form i emailed him w/ a few questions and mentioned again about the brake issue.    got a reply that he wont take it, well if he doesnt want the business that is his problem.

a friend recomened BT Auto Transport, has anyone ever heard of them...or used them?    they quoted me 1100 bucks, not a bad price.

i just filled out a online quote form for horseless carriage.   we will see what they quote...if they even do cars that are in the shape of mine.

i tried to fill out the quote for the fedex guys.....but because the car is non operational it said they forwarded it to the another department, filled that online quote out and it said they will give me a quote in the next 24 hours.

RamCharger has a good reputation.

Another good choice is Mark Nixon. That's probably the member of the old board that you were thinking of..

I haven't had the need for a shipping service yet, but if I ever do, it will be one of these guys.
