Hey gang..
This doesn't look right... Did the '68's have this stud/nut combination or a regular hex head bolt fastener like the rest of the locations on the inner fender panel? Sucks when a car's apart for over 5 years at the body shop....
I'm finding some evidence that it is proper for a '68/'69?

Hi T,

I also checked my chargers and they both have them like that.  Question for you:  Do your hood hinges have two small captive washer bolts and one large, or vica versa, or are they all the same size.  Both of my 68 R/T cars have (2) of one and (1) of another on both sides.  Just curious.

Thanks and your hemi is a beaut!!

Greg.

I just pulled off a fender.
The top item is a stud with the nut under the hood.
