yeah i recognise several of them from the movie plus boss hogg's Eldo convert. too....
makes me wonder how some folks get the inside scoop on all these rides...
i seem to remember folks wanting to buy these cars and the ones from the grind house movies too...
but some sort of back room dealing was funneling them to one guy... well there ya' go..

i'm sure there's alot more to it then that, but seems a shame these cars will all end up flipped jenny lees... whatever..

I looked and looked. I could not find the interesting ones.
Malicious, vindictive, spiteful, cynical, pessimistic, sarcastic, & antagonistic. And those are my good traits!

We lost more Chargers from building the process-cars than we did from the jumps.
At least the crew was willing to start with a bunch of rusty-framed wrecks to construct those particular cars.

For all the problems with that flick, the movie's in-car footage with the actors did look amazing.  I can't think of a movie that did a better job of putting the camera right into the car-action with the real actors.

It's the kind of thing that we all take for granted when we're talking about real drivers & little handheld video cameras.

But getting a huge, heavy $100,000 35mm film camera into those places & shots?  With the real actors, who are insured up the wazoo, and usually suck at driving in the first place?  That's a whole different ballgame.

That's awesome!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
