This guy wants $2500 for this grille. B.S. !    It does look nice, but look at the bottom ends of the grille, they flair out a little there on the bottom trim; their missing!

Yea, I noticed that too. The outer headlight bezel bumper corners or tips or ends (whatever you want to call them) have been cut off. WTH? Obviously they were broken off and he just made a nice, clean cut to avoid fixing them. :rotz:

Yeah, I had one vendor at the Nats tell me in the swap meet that 69 grilles are worth 10k so 2500 must be like stealing one huh?

Wow, then the $425 I paid for my grille I got a steal on if they are worth 10,000.  And mine have the corner tabs that go under the bumper as well.  The one on my car looks like the one in the auction presently with the tabs broken off and smoothed.

I restored a '70 grille for a guy complete like showroom new. I charged him $2500.00 Its the price you pay for restoration anymore. When the charger left our shop completed two summers ago, total bill was just under 60 grand.

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

Probably worth adding that this same vendor didn't have any of those 10k grilles at his space.  Come to think of it, he didn't have anything to prove he ever sold one for that much either. :D

I think he's smokin' the same stuff that the guy who sold me a complete '68 grill with vacuum pods for $15 a few years back.  No lie! :2thumbs:
