My little girl is city tennis champ!

My 13 year old is in middle school and her and her partner took 1st in the city in tennis.  I will try to post a pic of them and their medal but have to get it out of my phone. They were behind 5-2 and then came back to win the tie breaker and then won the final match.

Thanks. She came in second last year in singles. High school next year so it will be somewhat tougher

Right on.  I played tennis in JH and highschool, then my girlfriend when I was 36 told me she had played tennis and had been in state finals in highschool or college, can't remember,  I thought I was pretty good, we played and she had a bad knee from ligaments and was out of shape,  dang if she didn't seriously kick my butt, I mean bad,  I have respect for any tennis player that can compete at that level,

We should have. They were down 5-2 and came back and won. The other parents turned us in for cheering......whatever. A ref came over and said no clapping even. It's kinda crazy since you have to sit there like a zombie.

Good thing my mom wasn't there to cheer for you. She has no problem with cheering, & would have done so even after being told to stay quiet. I still have flashbacks from when I played baseball & she was in the stands.
