How long do I have to wait before color sanding the clear coat.
I put 4 coats on.

Id wait overnight if its not baked. If it was baked it can be sanded in as low as 2-3 hours, depending on clear.

I like to wait longer to help prevent future shrinkage & need for rerubbing but longer you waite harder it gets to rub usually. LEON. :scratchchin:

Alot depends on the clear, how it was mixed, and the temp. I use H.O.K. UC 35. I used to wait overnight. But It would shrink on me after about a week latter and I would have to rebuff. Now I wait 2 days. Sand with my first grit. next day my second grit. Next day sand with my last grit and then I start buffing.
