What's the best/cheaper spider gears seller up there ? I'm needing badly really the spider gears shaft and the gears on it ( of course shims too ), but shaft is the badly damaged stuff. Gears on shaft could it be sleeved in case of emergency.

I don't understand the play assembly on spider gears assembly. They have shims, however I don't understand how I must analize the play there.

Have you checked with DrDiff?  I know he's got about the best prices for dana stuff, and he does work on 8-3/4 stuff. .. which by extension means he's probably got the best prices on 8-3/4 stuff too?
