Does any body know if the new R/T wheels will work on a 1969 Charger?

Thanks for the help

70charger_boy

do you mean these wheels?

if so then the front wheels won't clear the front spindle.  It's 1 inch to small, but the back wheels go on fine

Isn't the offset on those pretty huge? What size tires will actually fit?

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

The offset isn't that bad on the 17 inch like the one in the pic.  I had them on the rear of my 70. I'll take a pic on Tuesday.  The wheels won't fit the fit over the front spindle, because the center section of the wheel is small.  The only way it would fit is if you converted to discs.  My charger has 4 wheel drums

Yup, those are the wheels. I also have drums all the way around, but am planning on the disc swap. Thanks for the info

Yeah, they won't fit the front drum spindle

I believe if you use a spacer on the front to clear the spindles you will be ok - I know a guy in the club here that had to use those for his magnum wheels on his 1970 cuda

You can also have the hub area on the wheel machined a bit larger.
