Can any owners of 1974 rallye chargers either post pics of the black out on the bulge hood. or if someone can make me a stencil I would buy it from you.  ( I will pay for all shipping and handling charges as well as accommodate you for the trouble of making the stencil.)
According to the brochure in 1974 the bulge is blacked out and was painted on at the factory. No third party restoration company makes these bulge hood kits. (to include Year One, Paddock, etc.)

Can anybody help me???????

I've been looking for help with this item for years.

Charger 73,
Hey thanks for the info.. Is that your car in the photo??
Have you seen any like this at any car shows or cruises?  I seen one that was identical to mine but that was over 7 years ago while my car was in mid-restoration and I haven't seen one since.
I bought my Charger from the original owner ( the paint was extremely faded and I could barely see the outline of the bugle )  I'm not sure if the one in your photo is correct.

Nope that is not my car.  But its exactly what mine will look like!  My cars still in primer at the moment...

There are some on this board who have the hood blackout im sure they will post when they see this topic.   :2thumbs:

as far I know that car is an unrestored car, and was from a member on board that I have not seen in a veeeery long time... Screen name was 74RALLYE at least on the old board, I think... he had 4 Chargers I think, one of them a beige/tan 74 plain jane, and was restoring one, adding the hideaways... In fact he provided on those days lots of helpfull pics about conversion and brackets needed.
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html
