Thanks for the directions, Old Guy. :)
Even if I don't drag anything home, I'd still like to go pickin' around there for an hour or so. There's definitely some neat stuff there. :yesnod:
Charger Fan,
Here is a map link to the place:

The actual address is 5879 W 10400 S, Highland, Utah.
If you are coming over Saturday, there is a car show sponsored by the Utah County Peace Officers.  It is being held from 11am - 5pm.  Location is 5381 W 10400 N in Highland - in a park just 5 blocks due east on 10400.  Stop by, I plan to be there with my 69 green Charger.
That sounds good, I'll do that. :)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Charger_Fan

Thanks for the heads-up about this place Old Guy, that was pretty cool to see. :2thumbs: I got there about a half hour into the auction & they had probably gone through 1/3 of the cars.
I didn't drag anything home, but I was sure tempted to on a couple of those...if I had the extra storage space, I probably would have. :icon_smile_big:
This 318 Coronet wagon was beckoning me HARD...but I resisted. It sold for $375.00 :o Dammit, I should have bid $400. :brickwall: Oh well.

There's the auctioneer selling it off. About the only visible rust on it was in the lower corners of the tail gate.
I bet it ends up on eGouge soon, the buyer smelled like a flipper. :smilielol:

Here's the back end of that Polara wagon Old Guy showed earlier.

I found this funny...I was thinkin' the owner may have stood right here to defend his yard from thieves one night. :2guns:

Some guy dragged his chickie in there. I think she got that far before she decided "eeewww, this place is icky!"

She was still in about the same spot as I made my way back up another row, her hubby (?) was nowhere to be seen.

Charger1973

Oh man, that wagon is killer.  Shoulda snagged it... thats dirt cheap!

Charger_Fan

I know, I'm kickin' myself now. :'(

On the way in the front gate...

Ghostbusters, anyone??

This wagon had a...

...big block.

This Galaxie had a 390 4-barrel

A bunch of neat old fat-fendered cars.

A pair-o-Pimples. :icon_smile_tongue:

A pair of suicide door Lincoln's.

Here's an old Studebaker you don't see restored too often.

Charger_Fan

Oh & yes Bronzy, you can use any of my pics you want. ;)

The body on this Fury on the right was in really good shape, only a little dig in the driver's door. If it was a '58, it would have been MINE! :coolgleamA:

I opened the door & there lies a local newspaper from September 1972...and lookie there, 35 years ago, the friggin' terrorists were STILL a pain in our collective a$$es! :icon_smile_angry:

Here's a few neat old tractors for you tractor folks.

The truck row...

Here's a panel delivery truck with a load of TV's...I wonder if the customers are still waiting for them? :smilielol:

Thinkin' of you, Todd. ;D

This one had some decent parts left on it.

Hey Strat, when's the last time you saw a Corvair van?

Charger_Fan

Hey Harlow, this is how NOT to replace your roof. :smilielol:

This would make a good car hauler.

This truck probably saw a bunch of farm duty.

There was a few of these old Dodges there.

Including one older than Todd's. :icon_smile_tongue:

Buncha good parts on this one, too. :yesnod:

Lastly, the "other" Vega. ::)
This one's even a GT! Oooohhh. :pity:

Afterward I stopped by the little car show, to scope out Old Guy's sweet lookin' Charger & gab for a while.
I got off 4 pics before my batteries died. :icon_smile_angry:

Old Guy, it was great meeting you!
Thanks for the nice shaded seat & good conversation. <--- root beer ;D

Had a great visit with Charger Fan.  It was fun hooking up with another guy from the board.  We sat around for awhile gabbing about good times with our Chargers.  The Utah County Law Enforcement Officers Assn. staged their first annual car show at a park just down the street from the auction.  Small turnout - but at least there were two Chargers there - mine and a guy that has a beautiful 1966.  His is the red one - has a 383 in it.  I see him quite often at the local cruise-ins.  It was a nice day - a lot of shade in the park and pretty laid back.  My 1969 Charger was the selected by The Santiquin Police Department for their award.  Got a little plaque :icon_smile_wink:

Brock,
While a was sitting at the car show, a lot of trucks were pulling trailers down the road past the park loaded with cars from the auction.  Sorry, but I saw your Corvair station wagon loaded up and going down the street - so, someone snagged it!! :icon_smile_big:

That Coronet wagon was COOL! There was one at a car show I went to last summer. It was a 69 Coronet RT (did they make RT wagons? :slap:) wagon. Anyways, I was T5 Copper with black interior and a HEMI! Now that would be awesome to have!

Brock,
Picture of my engine bay taken last year at a local show.  And...

What I wished my engine bay looked like :drool5:

Charger_Fan

I dunno Old Guy, that second engine shot doesn't look very streetable. But it would sure be fun to take a blast in! :yesnod:

Bronzy, I'm pretty sure there weren't any R/T wagons made, they were usually just made to drag kids & groceries in. However, they're easy enough to slip into R/T clothing. :) It's just as well I didn't get that, I already have too many projects as it is & barely enough room to put 'em all.

There you go Grant, you coulda had a big block wagon for prolly under $1k.  Just park them at your neighbors or better yet OldGuy would have surely helped you out.  ;)  $375 seems like a great deal, most likely had a 8 3/4 rear as well.
Years ago I almost bought a white '69.
