Hey gang...
I was curious.. Just purchased this power steering pump for my '68 Hemi.. It's an original hemi pump, BUT, seems there's a dent on the pulley outer groove edge.. Is there a way to straighten this puppy out.. I'd like to keep this pulley and it doesn't seem to be too bad.. Maybe some heat and a little dollying or squeeze of the edge in a vise?

Thanks..
Troy

PS: On a side note, notice how the pump housing doesn't have any paint in the area of the bracket..... Clue that the bracket was attached prior to painting...........

you will be surprised about how easy is to get it back on the way you are saying but WITHOUT heat!!!

or simply pry it with a pry bar or something similar

I'm hoping so, it's an original pump off a hemi car.......... The rare part is the pulley of all things.......

thanks......
