If I remember correctly, there was 3 different sized bearing retainers.  If you have the incorrect one for your bell housing, there is a company that makes an adapter ring to take up the difference.  I can't remember where I had to get one for my car but it was cheap.... something like $15 or so.  Probably from Passon Performance or some place like that.

My Mopar Performance catalog lists the following info:
P/N P4529694----4.35 inch OD, 3.70 inch bolt circle for 23 spline
P/N P4529695----4.80 inch OD, 3.70 inch bolt circle for 23 spline
P/N P4529696----4.80 inch OD, 4.16 inch bolt circle for 23 spline
P/N P4529697----4.80 inch OD, 4.16 inch bolt circle for 18 spline

I suspect the difference between the P/N's P4529696 and P4529697 is the size of the input bearing.  The 23 spline units use a 207 input bearing while the 18 spline units use a 208 bearing.

the input shaft diameter is 1 3/16 on the 18 spline , only 1 " on the 23 so the front sleeve is a bigger diamter using a larger releae brg with the 18 spline so they do not interchange even though the bolt pattern is the same
