383 Header Bolts

What size are the header bolts in a 383? and what length for headers?  Is there a specific type of bolt or just a regular old bolt with lockwasher?  I'm not looking for originality, just something strong and easy tp crank on when tightening these awful headers!!!

several companies carry a 3/8 x 1in (long) header bolt with a small head for easier access (tightening). I would also use some ulta copper permatex on the threads to seal them up and prevent water seepage.
