Transmission tunnel differences?

Not sure which section to put this in, it seems to fit multiple ones.  But does anyone have pictures of the differences in the transmission tunnel between an auto and a 4 speed 73/74? I found a guy parting out a 74 RR 4 speed and now I'm considering making my car a 4 speed.  I need to know if we'll have to weld in the other style tunnel.  Thanks.

Don't have a pic but when swapping to a 4-speed you will need the tunnel for it. You'll see the difference on his, it pretty obvious, how it is welded in so make sure you cut a little extra around it so you can use it as a template for installing it in your car, the location is important. You don't have to weld it in, it can be done with rivets or screws but welding is the better way, hope this helps, good luck.
