ign switch question

installing my old dash harness and found the red wire to the ign switch is missing.......where from the ign does it go(starter relay? straight to batt?)    :shruggy:

Doesn't it come from the battery feed off of the fuse box?

The red 12 ga wire to the ign switch is part of a 4-way splice in the underdash harness that originates at the ammeter and feeds the ign switch, headlight switch, and the fuse block.

the wire that comes from alt stud is the spliced and becomes on 3 more... two reds going to ignition and fuse box, and black to headlight switch
