MY BUDDY WENT OVER TO RICE AND HOLMAN FORD IN MT LAUREL NJ  TO PICK UP HIS WIFE'S EXPLORER , THEY ASK THE LOT BOY TO PREP THE TRUCK , HE GETS IN AND BACKS IT RIGHT THROUGH A SHEETROCK WALL .  AFTER THIS , THEY SAY IT WILL BUFF OUT ! MORE LIKE REPAIR AND PAINT THE QTR . TRUE STORY , HAPPENED 6-4-07

That reminds me of a time long ago when I worked at the world's largest Oldsmobile dealer as a car jockey. Some bonehead (not me) put a brand new 1966 Olds 98 on the hoist to do whatever (never did hear what the repair was). And it fell off. Some unhappy campers.

This one happened a LONG time ago.  Probably late 1960's.    A co-worker's husband had a crew rolling this '55 into the garage with no brakes.  He thought he could stop it Flintstone style with his foot.  Didn't work.

Back many many years ago I was told a my great uncle's father bought a Model T new and drove it home to the farm.  See the thing was he'd only run horses or mules in his day.  When he got to the house he went to pull into one of the sheds.  He got to the back of the shed and pulled back on the steering wheel to stop, like you would a horse team.  That no worky so he goes right through the back of the shed.  He had to go into town and get some new fenders for the thing.  The fenders are still laying in a junk pile on the farm.

Back many years ago I worked installing mobile phones in cars for a cellular company. Lady comes in to have a phone put into her new 4 door Mercedes right. Coworker pulls it around to the install bay (garage), opens all 4 doors, installs the phone, closes the 2 front doors and backs the car out of the install bay. Yes, I said only the 2 front doors. The back 2 doors were wrapped back around to the front of the car. Missed photo opportunity.................

One of my not to bright friends decided to have a little fun with his Pro Street Camaro a few years back. The car had no seats in it so he puts a milk box in there to sit on, stabs the throttle, goes flat on his back and the car went straight into a cement block wall, boy that was ugly.

Allright I HAVE to tell the story...I worked for a restoration guy for a while and he was restoring/building a General Lee and a 68 Coronet.  He pulled the General half into the bay and got out to move something inside the bay and "forgot" to put it into park.  It rolled backwards into the Coronet...You should have seen like 4 of us running after the car trying to stop it before it hit the other car.....I had barely missed our car when it hit the Coronet...lucky him 'cause I would have killed him.  He looks over both cars and says, "that'll buff out"  Idiot.  It took some body work and paint to get it out.

Funny thing is I posted that story and actually ran into the two guys who own the two cars I was talking about that night!  We talked for a while and YES they knew about the incident.  I guess one of us employees actually told them....

they didn't have too much to say about that...we all have bigger problems with the guy who did our cars...he ripped us all off, got himself arrested and had his shop closed, never really finished any of our cars and then sold the guy who had the general lee's car to someone else and is refusing that he even knows the guy.  Now this guy has no car and lost a ton of money.  Both the CA PD and the DMV are also at fault.  too much to really tell here......

nope, but from what I read on here he is WORSE!!!!  He takes your money to restore a car and uses some of it on another car and blows the rest on weed and his "band".  Nothing ever really gets done and he hires illegals to do the work (which most of them can do some bomb-ass work) then refuses to pay anybody on time.  I went 3 weeks with no paycheck (and I am not an illegal....they couldn't bitch because they would be deported).  he took andvatage of a lot of people and got caught....and got sued......

I really loath people like that, they just shut the business down and open up under a new name, or if they do get prosecuted they get what amounts to a slap on the wrist, meanwhile people who have sunk every dime they have into their dream car are screwed, the law just don't give a damn about us little folk

yeah when we called the DA about our car they said oh well, we got him for bigger things we don't need you......I worked for the a-hole..I have some great information, but I guess it means nothing.  We are now out $6,000 that he was supposed to finish on the car and having to do the rest of the work ourselves...He messed up so much that even hubby can't figure out what to do with some things....we thought we were getting a real good deal and thought he did great work since he was in Hemmings Motor and Dupont Registry had a General Lee in the shop and did great Zebra3 cars......Guess we were wrong.....
