I am wondering how you get the removable hood bumpers off (the ones at the radiator support with phillips head screws) and once I do where is the best place to get new ones, They seem to be "welded" in and the heads on them are stripped to round holes now. Thanks in advance for any info.

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

The rubber portion can be pried off of the screw.  As for the screws, you may have remove the rubber portion first and then get something on there that you can lock onto the head to turn it.  Maybe hit it with a little penetrating oil first.  They should come out of there but if it hasn't moved in 40 years...

If you still cant get it and are going to replace it because its already stripped, maybe weld something to it that you can get a better grip on to help break it loose.
