Not exactly sure where to post this.   Anyone have an estimate on what I should expect to pay for a radiator replacement and a universal joint on a 71 Charger SE?  The radiator is leaking very bad and the UV joint sounds like a bomb is about to go off underneath the car.  I am not mechanically inclined and will need to get someone to do it.  I am in Atlanta.  Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.  Thanks!  TOM

The best way to get an estimate it to go to the guy thats going to do the work & tell him to give you an estimate ;)

I paid $525 to have my "055" rad recored....a new joint is probably $10 but $200 to install it..... :rotz:

The radiator, yeah you will need to have yours redone or buy a new one.  Either way you're probably looking at $250 and up.

U joints aren't hard to do at home if you are willing to learn...  otherwise I hope you have a fat wallet because it gets expensive to pay to have everything done by someone else.
