a couple of days ago, i suddenly found that links in threads won't work, a blank window comes up and stays there blank and frozen,..
the link address is in the top blue strip, but nothing works except the control/delete command that says the link is not responding
now i can't get my mail either,  it loads but when i click on it it again freezes on a blank window, same with smilies,* and gain a blank window,..
any advice?..

*maybe the mods are sick of the "scrachchin"?..

Run defrag on the hard drive and try windows update to see if you are missing any updates on your software. She's freezing up somehow.

I put my windows disc back in when mine messed up like that last week and used the repair option.  My computer was fine until I got online and then it would lock up after about 30 seconds.  I had to re-download the new internet explorer but its all working fine now.

I had the same problem afew months back after I updated from IE6 to IE7. I had to re-download IE7 3 different times before it would work rite. You could always try using a different browser.

Current MoPars:
1968 Charger. 318 Out of commission:(
1975 Dart Swinger. 225 Pops daily ride.
1990 Dodge Ram. 360FI My daily ride.
2007 Magnum R/T. 5.7 Family wagon.

Try deleting all your cookies and temp folder files and clear the SSL state.  IE7 does not work that well on many networks either as well as IE6 does, its known to cause problems with other programs to.  Here at the college, IE7 is not even approved to be stable yet becasue it interferes with many of the student programs such as AutoCAD.  Mozilla works without complications.
