The dead Poly 318 is on the ground, next step is to head over there and pressure wash the engine compartment and the underside. Then paint and start getting all the stuff back in place!

I have to brag a little bit though! As you know, our cars are unitized construction. No frame. As they get older, you jack the car up and the door gaps change and the car has some droop here and there, just part of living with a unibody, nothing wrong with them it's just how they are.  We had my Charger jacked up in the front on jackstands and had to jack the rear up and put it on stands to take the driveshaft out. The stand on my side was a little bit higher than the one on the other side. I eased the car down to get the driveshaft out and it sat on my stand and on the other side left about an 1/8 th inch of DAYLIGHT. That old car is TIGHT. No flex at ALL in that old girl! Made me HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Topher I'm dissapointed, there are NOWHERE NEAR enough dancing nanners in that post for you! Are you OK? Feeling sick?!   ;D ;D

MAN I'm excited about the big green beast! My buddy and I actually discussed (BRIEFLY) a color change to that car. It's so straight and solid, we kicked around changing it to black. But I'm sure we'll just stay dark green.

DARK metallic green, black interior, The big and little steelies, with dog dish caps and a 67 Super Stock hood scoop. Then leave those little 318 2 barrel V-8 emblems on the fenders. That thing will put the FEAR in the Chevy guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right on man!  I love black or silver on 66/67s.  With black being the #1 choice.  Just something about it...   :yesnod:

Agreed.  All that bright trim on the fastbacks makes a great contrast with a dark color.
