Thanks Ryan Olson
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

how much is "a little work"? i am having a body guy do the work but i don't want to send the price for the work through the roof.

BTW, your car looks great

Well I had to cut out the openings for the scoop. I did quite of bit of block sanding. I primed the hood and painted it the Organsol black and installed a nice set of hood pins. The fit of the hood was very good. The hood uses the the stock hinges in the back minus the springs and hood pins in the front.  I'm very pleased. I don't have a huge investment in the hood which is nice.

I got one last month. It was a 68-69 hood with a challenger T/A hood scoop. This is a pin on hood and it is in my oppion very rouge. It is not jell coated like the nicer ones. It has small void, and need at least 2 coats of filler primer with block sanding to get it close for a flat black paint job.

Has anybody gotten a cowl hood from the up22 guys? Would love to see their cowl hood product.
