This may be old news but I thought I would pass it along.  I talked to Mike at beaparts.com day before yesterday after reviewing his website.  He shows the elusive red circle dog dish that I have been looking for as part number 247-R.  I wanted to know if it was aluminum or stainless.  He said the one he took to Columbus (or could have been Carlisle) was aluminum but that the plating wasn't good enough so they went back to get stainless.  He has 150 sets coming.  Just missed this container but will be in the next one.  He thinks no more than a month or so.  They are authenic Mopar Restorations.  And they are expensive---$325/set of 4.  I took the plunge and went ahead and ordered a set.  I'll let everyone know when they arrive at my door.  My idea is to have a set of steels with the dog dishes and later a set of either torque thrusts or something else.  I sure hope they are as good as they look on his website.

He is the US rep for PG Classics parts.  That's Peter Lee out of Canada.  The other repro parts they have been coming up with have been real good.

I think the picture is the chrome plated aluminum version.  The stainless version may be different.  I guess we will see.

II guess that's going to drive the price of the NOS ones I have WAY down! CRAPTASTIC!  :-\

I called Mike again.  Latest story is that the red circle dog dishes he has are the chrome plated aluminum ones.  I mentioned about the stainless ones coming on the boat.  He said they don't come on a boat (did before) but that they would definitely be getting the stainless.  Would be a while.  Said it would be in two or three months.  He seems to be a nice guy and does have a whole lot of interesting parts.  So I have hopes he will get the stainless variety eventually.  He really wanted to sell me some of the aluminum ones but I have my mind set on the stainless ones so I told him I would just wait.  So we will see.
